"To the Sisters concerning Elections"
My very dear Sisters,

You are aware that owing to the death of our dear and ever lamented Sister M. Aloysius the Office of 2nd Assistant and Secretary have been rendered vacant; also the holding of the Office of Treasurer by the General Assistant creates another vacancy. Now my dear Sisters in order that we hold the coming Elections, as nearly as possible in conformity to our Holy Rule which says; that the Chapter is composed of the Superior General and her Council, Secretary, Treasurer, Local Superior and Delegates, it is our purpose before proceeding further to name Sisters who were eligible six years ago as representatives for these offices in the present Chapter.

Herewith we enclose you a list of Sisters from which you will please select and send the names of those whom you consider suitable representatives for the above named Offices.

I remain in the Sacred Heart of our Divine Master
Yours Affectionately
Sister Mary Edward, Sup. Gen.
