We are entering the Season of Creation. This Friday, September 1, with the Feast of Creation, we begin this ecumenical season of prayer and action for our common home.
At the General Audience on Wednesday, August 30, Pope Francis stressed the urgent need to “end the senseless war on our common home, which is a terrible world war” and recalled his intention to publish an apostolic exhortation, as a continuation of Laudato Si, on October 4th, the closing of the Season of Creation and the feast of St. Francis of Assisi.
