Rev. P.J. Wissel, C.S.S.R.
St. Clement College,
Saratoga Springs
Dear Rev. Father,

Your esteemed favor of the 18th inst. was duly received. Indeed, I consider it very kind of you to remember our Institution when there is an offer such as the one in question. I shall be happy to admit the boy on your application and stated conditions. Very soon our accommodations will be more extensive and improved, as we are building a large addition to our House this summer, and being particularly in need of assistance in the work I am glad to receive an inmate who can recompense the Institution for his maintenance.

Of course I rely on your recommendation of Mr. Hagg for the disposition of the boy’s property for his support, should he be willing to remain here. I was much surprised to receive a letter from Saratoga Springs, as I thought you were located at Toronto.

Earnestly recommending myself and Community to your prayers, I remain
Yours Respectfully
Mother Mary Edward, Sup. Gen.
