Prayer to St. Vincent de PaulO glorious St. Vincent, heavenly Patron of all Associations of Charity, and Father of all who sorrow, thou who in life never didst reject any one who had recourse to thee, see by how many evils we are oppressed and come to our assistance. Obtain from our Lord relief for the poor, health for the sick, comfort for the afflicted, protection for the abandoned, the virtue of charity for the rich, conversion for sinners, zeal for priests, peace for the church, tranquillity for nations and salvation for all. May all share the effects of thy compassionate intercession, so that helped by thee in the miseries of this life, we may be united with thee in heaven above where there will be no more mourning, nor tears, nor suffering, but everlasting joy, delight and bliss. Amen.
